Well-kept and family-run Greek tavern, well-presented and excellent quality dishes, preferable to the many tourist restaurants in the center of Kos. Recommended!!

Visited Kos last year and spent every other day of our holiday in here. As we were back in Kos this year, again we visited the restaurant regularly (5 occasions). The staff are friendly and the food is homemade and extremely reasonably priced. My partner specifically enjoyed the ice cold beer which was served in a glass straight out of the freezer. Would highly recommend and would guarantee you wouldn’t just eat there once.

This became our ‘go-to’ restaurant during our recent holiday and it was fabulous. Local dishes, well served and friendly staff. We ate there for lunch and dinner and sampled everything from a simple tzatziki to the fabulous fish plate for 2. Thank you for making our holiday that little bit more special ❤️

Fresh, yummy and authentic food. Was a nice escape from all inclusive buffet food. Really reasonably priced for amount and quality of food.

Fantastic restaurant lovely staff, I thinks it’s family owned which shows. Very attentive, some.of the best food on the island and depsite being on a busy road the restaurant feels calm. We ate there twice and between the four of us had a mixture of dishes which were all excellent. Literally I can find no fault. We ate at 11 different restaurants all over the island and this was by far the nicest House wine also excellent

We visited this restaurant many times during our recent holiday to Kos. the food and the service are both excellent. We had falafels, hummus, garlic mushrooms, grilled vegetables, tuna tartar, tuna steak and the squid ink seafood pasta. All totally amazing and reasonably priced. Does not look much from the outside but the quality of the food is excellent. I have just read some of the reviews and couldn’t agree more with the comments. A must visit.

Beautiful Greek restaurant with delicious food and spectacular views, my family had such a lovely meal here on our last night night in Greece, we were disappointed in ourselves to not have tried this restaurant sooner into our holiday as we definitely would of eaten here every evening, the owners were extremely friendly and caring. Thank you for making our last night in Greece a very happy time with lovely food 🙂

Amazing family run taverna. Beautiful food and excellent service. Lovely views and a very authentic Greek experience! Have been many times whilst on holiday in Kos and it never disappoints. It’s our favourite restaurant to return to.

We visited Meltamia, a family run taverna, three times for dinner during our recent stay in Kos, and on each occasion enjoyed freshly prepared Greek food and also excellent waiter service from Demetris. We can particularly recommend the special starter at 11 euros, which includes a range of dishes, and the feta crust with honey and sesame.

Food and service were excellent. The decor is simple but very quaint We ate here a couple of nights during our week’s holiday and both times were superb. Demetris the waiter is very friendly and attentive. Genuine Greek food experience and well worth a visit !!

Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We arrived at 6.30 in the evening, just one other table taken. By the time we left at 8.00, every table was taken. Menu traditionally Greek, which is what we were looking for. The sea bass, in particular was very good; no double carbs like a lot of tavernas, just fish and salad 😊 We will visit again.
